Travel Club

How the club works

We gather in person every other month, and yes, there are always appetizers. From time to time a travel supplier comes by to show off a destination or a deal that fits what the group’s been curious about. Then comes the fun part: we vote. The trips that win the room are the ones I go build, and the club’s space gets reserved on them so members travel together.

There’s no catch. No dues, nothing to sign up for beyond showing up. If you’re far from Magnolia or can’t make it in person, you can join the meetings virtually and still cast your vote on where we head next.

What you get out of it

You meet other people who light up at the same things you do — the river cruisers, the safari dreamers, the wine-region wanderers. You get a first look at trips before they fill up, since members shape the calendar. And you get the comfort of traveling with a group that already feels like friends by the time the plane takes off.

A couple of upcoming meetings give you a sense of the rhythm: one session built around river cruises and small-ship yachts, another focused on travel through Africa, both held in the early evening at a relaxed local spot.
