Some of my favorite trips started as a casual conversation over appetizers with people who just like to go places. That's the whole idea behind the Travel Club. We meet, we swap stories, we hear what's out there, and then we vote on where we want to go next. It's open to anyone who likes to travel, and you're welcome whether you come solo, as a couple, or with the whole family in tow.
What I Plan Here
Our September get-together, with Sandals and Beaches joining us as guest speakers. They will walk the room through their all-inclusive resorts across the Caribbean, what separates the adults-only side from the family side, and what is genuinely worth paying up for. Appetizers as always. Tell me you are coming so I can save you a seat.
We eat, we catch up, and the supplier shows the room what they have. Then we vote on where the club goes next. The trips that win are the ones I go and build, with space held so members travel together.
Come on your own, come as a couple, bring the family. Nobody has to book anything and there are no dues. If you cannot get to Magnolia you can join us virtually and still vote.
We gather in person every other month, and yes, there are always appetizers. From time to time a travel supplier comes by to show off a destination or a deal that fits what the group’s been curious about. Then comes the fun part: we vote. The trips that win the room are the ones I go build, and the club’s space gets reserved on them so members travel together.
There’s no catch and there are no dues. The only thing I ask is that you tell me you’re coming, so I know how many seats to save. If you’re far from Magnolia or can’t make it in person, you can join the meetings virtually and still cast your vote on where we head next.
You meet other people who light up at the same things you do — the river cruisers, the safari dreamers, the wine-region wanderers. You get a first look at trips before they fill up, since members shape the calendar. And you get the comfort of traveling with a group that already feels like friends by the time the plane takes off.

One thing I'll always be up front about: there may be a planning fee for my time and expertise. The commission is already in the cost of the resort or cruise price, whether you use me or not. The cruise line or resort just keeps my portion if you book directly, and they give you no extra guidance or help. I work for you, not the cruise line or the resort. I will always have your best interests in mind, and everything is customized specifically to you. Have questions, need more information, have concerns? I'm here to help with all of it!
